The flesh must die

“Father in heaven, this day I am willing to cooperate once again with the Holy Spirit by putting to death the works of the flesh, moment by moment till I be taken out of this earth (the Rapture of the Church according to the Scripture). I desire LORD to live a holy life and walk in (be filled with, and be led by) the Holy Spirit; that I may be able to please you through my lifestyle, thought line, habits, behaviors, talks, desires, motives, attitudes, imaginations, affections and relationships. That I may be an example to others and be effective in making disciples within my sphere of influence on daily basis.”

There is an outcry of the Holy Spirit to make disciples as we approach the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Paul says in Philippians 4:9 “…those things you have seen and heard from me, do them and the peace of God will be with you”. That is, the Lord requires you to be an example to those He has put into your life  that they may learn from you, and imitate you as you imitate Christ.” 1 Corinthians 11:1.

Yet there are obstacles we face on daily bases that deter us from being effective in our disciple – making mandate (Matthew 28:19). The flesh and its desires are behind these obstacles. Paul mentions in Galatians 5: 17 “… the flesh fights against the Spirit, keeping you from doing the things you want to do.” Also in Romans 7: 19 “… For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice.”

The battles within that you have been facing as a believer are flesh related- the flesh fighting against the Spirit. You must yield to the Holy Spirit on daily bases and lean upon Him to empower you to overcome the flesh and put to death its works. With the help of the Holy Spirit, you must deaden the flesh, mortify it, and put off the old self Ephesians 4:22- 32.

Say this prayer by faith,

“Holy Spirit, I welcome you into my life. I realize I cannot do anything in this life without you. I die to self, daily, that Christ may be manifested through my living. I believe I am crucified with Christ on the cross, and that I no longer live, but Christ lives in me through faith.” (Galatians 5:20).

“Holy Spirit, take over my life style and glorify Christ through me. Empower me to make disciples of those you are connecting me with. Thank you, Holy Spirit, my friend, my Teacher and my Lord. Amen”.

Seeking God all day

It is human nature to pursue earthly fame, reputation, prosperity, health, miracles, good seasons, and the like.

As you read this truth today ask yourself,

“What is my greatest pursuit in life?”

“What would I die for today to achieve?”

“Where are all my efforts going?”

If God is none of these answers, we then need to have a different spirit today. We need our spirits renewed so as to seek after God like never before. Because he alone is our essence of being.

That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:27-30)

God testified of king David saying that “I have found a man after my own heart”. That is, David was not seeking a feeling, an excitement, a miracle, a blessing, a temporal fame, all of which are desirable in this life.

From his youth, David was seeking after God in “person”.

Desire today to go an extra mile of faith, to seek God with all your heart, soul, mind and might. And do not stop until you find Him.

Who is God? He is not a wind, a fire, a feeling or a miracle that you are desperately in need of. He is a person!

The miracles you are desperately searching will fade away. But He will remain with you and in you for eternity.

When you find Him, He has all you need and you will never lack.

May we change our focus today, may we repent of spending our efforts seeking vanities of this life.

May we purpose in our renewed spirits to seek God with all our hearts and might. For He holds all that we are in need of in this life and even in life to come.

Pray with me this prayer of faith:

Loving Father, I am in pursuit of vanities of this life. I repent of my ways. From today hence forth, as long as I live, I purpose with my whole heart to seek you, not earthly things , but you Almighty God.

That I may live and walk with you every day of my life, beholding your presence and your glory.

As the Scripture says, cause me to seek You early and enable me to dwell in your presence the rest of my life.

Set me apart from satan, sin and the world. Make me holy today, that I may be pleasing before you all day long.

Thank you Father, for Jesus Christ your Son and for your Holy Spirit who will help me to seek you daily, enabling me to know you more and abiding in your presence day after day, and for eternity. Amen

Releasing faith within you that overcomes

When we believe in our hearts that Christ Jesus is the Son of God, and confess with our mouths that God raised Him from the dead to save us from our sins, we become born again (Romans 8:10-13). Born of the Spirit of God (John 1:12-13).

God foreordained us to be His (Ephesians 1:4-6), so even if you are not born again as you read this, God is able to give you the free gift of faith, so that you be born again (Ephesians 2:8).

Therefore, every predestined believer of Christ Jesus has been given a measure of faith (Romans 12: 3-8). Because only that which is done in faith pleases God (Hebrews 11:6).

So, when you are out and about, look for faith at work.

Where is your faith?

Where is faith being manifested around you?

It is not about your trials, your origin, your circumstances, your challenges, your feelings, your giants, your mountains/ obstacles in life, your battles, and the like.

It is about “do you have faith that comes from God?”

Every predestined believer of Christ Jesus has a measure of faith to enable one to please God.

But how do you release that faith within you for action – to win battles around you? (1 John 5:4).

By hearing what Christ Jesus is saying to you when addressing your current situations/ circumstances and, obeying what He tells you to do.

No mountain is greater than what Jesus Christ tells you (in your spirit) to do.

No sickness, no cancer, no poverty, no lack, no death, no fear of death, no sin, and the like that withstands the gift of faith within us. (Mark 9:23).

Receive that gift of faith then. May the Lord Jesus Christ give you that free gift of faith. May the Holy Spirit enable you to release that gift of faith within you to fight your battles to victory. That you may inherit miracles, signs, wonders, healing and deliverance through Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

Loving Father in Heaven, I pray for  this one  reading this truth.

I pray you grant them, a free gift of faith in their situations/circumstances.

May they release the faith to confront their challenges victoriously and fulfil your will in their lives, business, workplace, family, marriage and nations.

May they be pleasing to you as they keep walking by that faith.

And all glory comes back to you. Amen

“… and renew a right spirit within me”

This morning before waking up, I sensed the Holy Spirit reminding me of this scripture again and again and again. Psalms 51.

I knew it was the Holy Spirit prompting me to remember the scripture word by word, verse by verse.

If you are reading our ministry pages for the first time, I gladly welcome you and assure you, as you meditate upon these truths, your life will never be the same again.

Because, the Holy Spirit has motivated me to share these truths to change lives and reveal Christ Jesus to many.

But why Psalms 51? Because God Almighty is at work, making us whole (healing and delivering us) in spirit, soul and body (reconciling us back to Himself day after day).

A lot has been shared on the soul and body, but not on spirit.

Human beings are made up of spirit (the breath of God- where the will power dwells), soul (mind, thinking capacity) and body (the outer part- the physical). The soul is the union between the spirit and the body. When we die, the spirit goes back to God to wait for judgement or for eternal life; and the body returns to the ground (earth, soil).

When we get born again, according to John 1:12-13, we receive a renewal of our spirit. It is the circumcision of our hearts through partaking Christ’s death on the cross (“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬), that brings about this renewed spirit.

This renewed spirit is essential to enable us cooperate with the Holy Spirit (for as many as are led by the Holy Spirit, those are sons and daughters of God).

Yet it is not a one time process of renewing our spirits, it is a daily process.

“That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I am in need of this renewal of spirit daily, and I am sure you will be, once you read this.

Every unruly spirit, haughty spirit, unclean spirit, spirit of disobedience, evil spirit, familiar spirit, foul spirit, spirit of infirmity, and the like must be expelled out.

We must breathe in daily the spirit of self control, spirit of wisdom, spirit of love, spirit of a sound mind, spirit of meekness, and the like.

May the breath of the Almighty God (the Creator of spirits of all flesh), renew our spirits today, that we might be filled with the Holy Spirit and walk with Him day after day, doing the will of the Father.

If this is the desire of your heart, comment here below and we will stand with you in our prayers. And if you believe today, I assure you, you will never be the same again. May God Almighty, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, transform you day by day unto the image of Jesus Christ our Saviour. May He heal and deliver your spirit (self-will) today just as He heals and delivers your soul (mind, emotions) and body from all infirmities. Amen.

Breathe in a new spirit! Breathe out unclean spirits

Pray always

Prayers demonstrate a faith, belief, reliance upon an invisible God Almighty.

When we pray, we communicate with our Heavenly Father, and wait patiently for Him to answer our prayers.

But prayers must be aligned with our Heavenly Father’s will, purpose and mind.

So then, how do we align our prayers with the will of the Father?

By praying with all prayers in the Holy Spirit, that is, allowing the Holy Spirit within us, to pray the mind of the Father, through us (Romans 8:26-27).

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints”(Ephesians 6:18).

For effective prayer life, we must be filled daily and walk with the Holy Spirit, only Him is able to pray through us and in us, without ceasing.

Jesus Christ told His disciples, “…men ought to pray always and not faint” Luke 18:1). Jesus Christ knew, we are but flesh and we are prone to faint, yet He was speaking of believers who are full of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit praying without ceasing through them.

This a sample of a prayer session as guided/ prompted by the Holy Spirt:

I cry to you Lord, in my inner most being, for the lost souls- for those who have no relationship with you. Today, Oh Lord, remember them, have mercy! Mercy ! Mercy ! Save them oh Lord, set them free from powers of darkness! Heal them , and they shall be healed, for there is no healing in any other except from you Lord, Jesus Christ!

Set them free, their families, friends, businesses, and careers. Oh Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy upon your people, the creation of your own hands. Ooh Lord Jesus Christ! I pray for souls , Jehovah! Rekindle the fire within. Oh Jehovah! Rekindle a hunger , a thirst and longing for you , for holiness and for righteousness!

Oh Lord Jesus Christ, deliver! Heal! Save ! Revive! Baptise by Spirit and by Fire ! Oh Lord! Build your church ! Your body ! Hallelujah! Amen.

You must be born again to experience effective prayer lifestyle (John 1:12-13). You must be born of the Spirit, so the Holy Spirit indwelling within you, start praying without ceasing, praying the will of the Father in heaven.

Would you desire to be born again as you read these inspirations? If you do, and I pray that you do, I request you to accept Christ Jesus into your heart and be converted for the remission of your sins.

Pray with me, and believe in your heart,

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe in you, save me now from my sins. I believe you are the Son of God, that you died and rose again to redeem me from all wickedness. I receive you as my Lord and Saviour and according to the Scriptures, I am now born again. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ, for saving me. Fill me now with your Holy Spirit, that He may pray in me the will of the Father without ceasing. I desire to live a holy life and to do the will of the Father. Amen.

Praise the Lord, now you are born again. Follow us in our ministry website, and tell us what God is doing in your life. Blessings and peace to you and your family. Amen
